Sprinter 170 Ceiling Panel CNC DXF File, 2019+ High Roof (Digital Download)

The black dots shown in the design indicate the mounting holes used to fasten the ceiling panels to the factory roof beams.

These mounting holes have been precisely positioned for CNC cutting, saving you hours of measuring, aligning, and drilling during installation. In my own Sprinter camper van build, I used M5 rivet nuts and M5 screws, which fit the factory mounting holes perfectly. This approach makes installation straightforward while minimizing the need to drill any additional holes.

The design file is provided as a clean template and does **not** include cutouts for ceiling lights, wiring slots, or the Maxxair fan, allowing you to customize the layout to suit your own van build.

These are the exact DXF files I designed and used for my own Sprinter 170 high roof ceiling panel system. The design was created to solve the common issues I personally ran into when working with generic or poorly fitting templates.

Many digital van templates available online don’t properly account for the complex curvature of the Sprinter ceiling, especially around the sliding door and rear tailgate. This file set was built to address those real-world challenges.

Every major structural element of the ceiling has been considered—including factory beams, mounting points, wiring paths, and accessory placement—so you can focus on building instead of troubleshooting.

The panels are designed to be cut from standard 4×8 sheets, making them practical for CNC routing and efficient in material usage.

Notes & Important Details

This design accurately follows the factory roof beam layout, but small variations between vans may exist.

Minor trimming may be required depending on:

insulation thickness

ceiling finish material

manufacturing tolerances

The L-track mounting areas are pre-planned but not pre-drilled, allowing flexibility for your specific hardware.

The attached photos may show a customized installation and may not exactly match the raw DXF files.
