Key Features & Benefits

✔ VAN-TESTED & INSTALLED: These are the exact files used to build a real Sprinter 170 subfloor—not just theoretical CAD drawings.

✔ COMPLETE FLOOR SYSTEM: Includes full front, middle, and rear floor sections plus multiple front filler options for different layouts.

✔ CNC-READY PRECISION: Clean vector files optimized for CNC cutting, helping you achieve accurate fitment and reduce manual measuring.

✔ LAYOUT FLEXIBILITY BUILT-IN: Includes two front filler strip options and extra front coverage that can be trimmed based on your build.

✔ DESIGNED FROM REAL BUILD EXPERIENCE: Created after frustration with poorly fitting digital plans—designed to save time and material.

✔ VERIFY BEFORE CUTTING: Designed as a precise starting point—basic measurement and alignment checks are recommended before cutting.

✔ B-PILLAR CORNER FIT
Includes a curved cut designed to match the factory B-pillar plastic trim behind the driver seat. If your van does not have this trim, or if you plan to remove it, you can simply modify the shape by replacing the curve with straight lines.

Description

These are the exact DXF files I designed and used for my own Sprinter 170 subfloor, cut from standard 1/2" or 3/4" 4' × 8' plywood sheets.

I’m sharing them to help save you time, material, and frustration on your own van build.

Unlike many untested digital files, this design has been physically cut and installed in a real van build, ensuring a reliable and practical foundation.

What’s Included

1 DXF File

Design Notes
The front floor section includes an additional 772 mm extension over the door step, designed for common layouts (e.g., kitchen cabinet placement). This can be easily trimmed if needed.
The design also extends the floor to the front seats comparing to the factory floor which ends at the partition line.
Around the front seat area, small obstacles (seat base, edges, extensions) may require minor trimming for proper fit.
Important Notes

Every van build is slightly different. Variations in the following can affect fit:

Insulation thickness
Subfloor layering
Wheel well treatment
L-track positioning
Structural framing

Minor trimming and adjustments are normal and expected.

Compatibility
Designed and tested on 2019+ Sprinter 170 (High Roof)
May not fit pre-2019 models exactly due to minor dimensional differences

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Are these physical templates or digital files?
A: 100% digital. You will receive downloadable DXF files for CNC cutting.

Q: Has this been tested in a real build?
A: Yes. These files were cut and installed in a real Sprinter 170 build.

Q: What's included in the download?
A: A complete set of 6 DXF files covering the full subfloor layout, including multiple front filler options.

Q: Do I need a CNC machine?
A: Yes. These files are designed for CNC routers or other computer-controlled cutting systems.

Q: Will this fit perfectly without adjustments?
A: No. These files provide a precise starting point. Final trimming and fitting are a normal part of any van build.

Q: Should I perform measurements before cutting?
A: Yes. Every van is slightly different, with variations in insulation, framing, floor thickness, L-track placement, and factory tolerances. You should verify key dimensions and alignment before cutting and make minor adjustments as needed.
