This is a design based on actually installation and many iteration adjustment. It is not the template in theory.
The photos you seen are the actually cut for 2 Ford Transit Mid Roof wall panels I recently done.
Doubule check the key measurement and make necessary adjustment before cutting. Each van is different on floor thickness, insulation thickness, framing and etc.
Key Features & Benefits
VAN-TESTED & INSTALLED: These are not just CAD drawings—they are the exact files used to build walls in a real Ford Transit Mid Roof 148 Wheel Base.
DESIGNED FOR UPHOLSTERY & EASY ALIGNMENT: Includes intentional spacing for fabric wrapping and curved surfaces. Please verify key measurements and alignment in your van before cutting, and make minor adjustments as needed.
COMPLETE COVERAGE: Get every panel you need for both sides of the van in one download—no guessing or piecing together partial plans.
CNC-READY PRECISION: Achieve clean, factory-like edges and perfect seams. Eliminate hours of complex manual measuring and cutting.
DESIGNED FROM FRUSTRATION: Created after buying ill-fitting digital plans, so you get a reliable, accurate starting point.
IMMEDIATE PROJECT START: Digital download means you can send files to your CNC shop and begin fabrication today.
Description
These are the exact DXF files I designed and used to cut wall panels for the Ford Transit 148 Mid Roof , cut from standard 1/4" 4×8 plywood sheets. I’m sharing them here in case they can save you time, material, and frustration on your own van build.
Before creating these myself, I purchased several digital panel designs that turned out to be untested and didn’t fit as expected, which was pretty frustrating. That experience is a big reason I’m sharing these files. These wall panel designs were measured, cut, and installed in a real Sprinter build, not just drawn in CAD.
DXF Files:
Entire wall layout (6 panels of the driver and passenger sides)
Note:
Every van built is a little different. Small adjustments after cutting are completely normal. For example, insulation thickness, furring strips, sound deadening, or factory variances can affect the final fit of wall panels.
Compatibility:
Ford Transit 148 WB Mid Roof.
NOT intend for High Roof or Extdend 148 version. You can still buy and adjust at your own responsibility.
Digital Download Only:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Are the panels designed for a tight fit?
A: No. The design intentionally includes small gaps to accommodate fabric wrapping or other finishing materials applied to the panel surfaces. This prevents interference during installation and helps achieve a cleaner final appearance, especially considering the vertical and horizontal curves of the Ford Transit van. As with any van build, you should perform basic measurements, test-fit the panels, and make minor adjustments based on your specific vehicle setup.
Q: Are these physical templates or digital files?
A: 100% Digital. You are purchasing downloadable DXF files for CNC cutting. No physical templates or items are shipped.
Q: What's included in the download?
A: You will receive DXF file for all 6 wall panels needed to cover both the driver and passenger side interior walls of a Ford Transit.
Q: Do I need a CNC machine to use these?
A: Yes. These are vector files specifically for CNC routers, lasers, or other computer-controlled cutters. They are not designed for printing as hand-tracing templates.
Q: Do the files include cutouts for wiring or windows?
A: These files provide the primary panel shapes. For a clean install, you will need to add custom cutouts for your specific wiring runs, outlets, and windows based on your build plan.
Q: Will these fit perfectly without any adjustments?
A: They provide a precise foundational shape. Final trimming to accommodate your specific insulation thickness, furring strips, and van tolerances is a necessary and expected step.
Q: What material and thickness are they designed for?
A: It is designed for standard 4x8 plywood sheet cut. 1/4 inch thickness plywood is recommended for ceiling and wall panels. 1/2 inch or thicker plywood recommended for floor.
