Sprinter 170 Wall Panel DXF Files, CNC Ready (2019+) (Digital Download)

The black dots shown in the design indicate the mounting holes used to fasten the panels to the van walls. The holes are positioned to match as many of the factory mounting holes as possible. The pre-designed mounting holes are precisely aligned for CNC cutting, saving you hours of manually measuring, aligning, and drilling holes during installation.

In my Sprinter camper van build, M5 rivet nuts and M5 screws fit the factory holes perfectly, making installation straightforward while minimizing the need to drill additional holes.

The design file is provided as a clean template. It does not include cutouts for windows or the power outlets, as these can be added to suit your own van and layout. Description

These are the exact DXF files I designed and used for my own Sprinter 170 wall panels, cut from standard 1/4" 4×8 plywood sheets. I’m sharing them here in case they can save you time, material, and frustration on your own van build.

Before creating these myself, I purchased several digital panel designs that turned out to be untested and didn’t fit as expected, which was pretty frustrating. That experience is a big reason I’m sharing these files. These wall panel designs were measured, cut, and installed in a real Sprinter build, not just drawn in CAD.

Note：
Every van built is a little different. Small adjustments after cutting are completely normal. For example, insulation thickness, furring strips, sound deadening, or factory variances can affect the final fit of wall panels.

Compatibility:

These files were designed and tested on a newer Sprinter 170 (2019+). I can’t guarantee exact fitment for models made before 2019, as interior dimensions and mounting details may differ. If you’re working on an older van, you’re welcome to try them, just knowing that some adjustments may be necessary.

Q: Are the panels designed for a tight fit?
A: No. The design intentionally includes small gaps to accommodate fabric wrapping or other finishing materials applied to the panel surfaces. This prevents interference during installation and helps achieve a cleaner final appearance, especially considering the vertical and horizontal curves of the Sprinter van. As with any van build, you should perform basic measurements, test-fit the panels, and make minor adjustments based on your specific vehicle setup.

Q: Are these physical templates or digital files?
A: 100% Digital. You are purchasing downloadable DXF files for CNC cutting. No physical templates or items are shipped.

Q: What's included in the download?
A: You will receive DXF file for all 10 wall panels needed to cover both the driver and passenger side interior walls of a Sprinter 170, plus a master layout file.

Q: Do I need a CNC machine to use these?
A: Yes. These are vector files specifically for CNC routers, lasers, or other computer-controlled cutters. They are not designed for printing as hand-tracing templates.

Q: Do the files include cutouts for wiring or windows?
A: These files provide the primary panel shapes. For a clean install, you will need to add custom cutouts for your specific wiring runs, outlets, and windows based on your build plan.

Q: Will these fit perfectly without any adjustments?
A: They provide a precise foundational shape. Final trimming to accommodate your specific insulation thickness, furring strips, and van tolerances is a necessary and expected step.

Q: Can I use these for a Sprinter 144?
A: No. The Sprinter 170 has a longer wheelbase and completely different wall panel dimensions and shapes. These files are specific to the 170 model.

Q: What material and thickness are they designed for?
A: They are designed and nested for standard 1/4-inch (approx. 6mm) plywood sheets, 4' x 8' in size.
